Teenager Giulia Gwinn scored the only goal of the game in the 66th minute but the Germans rode their luck with Yang Li hitting the post shortly before the half-time break.

Spain Women 3-1 South Africa Women

The first was awarded for a handball and the second for Nothando Vilakazi’s rash challenge.Lucia Garcia added a third with a cool finish in the 89th minute.

Norway Women 3-0 Nigeria Women

Norway had their third goal in the 36th minute thanks to an own goal by Osinachi Ohale when she poked the ball into her own net after a cross from the right.
