But according to the Mail, Spurs have ‘no plans’ to replace Lloris and will instead prioritise the recruitment of at least two central midfielders, a new left-back and a support striker for Harry Kane.Spurs are looking to offload Victor Wanyama, who has featured in just six Premier League matches this season, while they also want to add a creative midfielder to replace Christian Eriksen, with a summer departure for the Dane looking increasingly likely.

Eriksen, whose deal is up at the end of next season, has been stalling on signing a new contract and Real Madrid have been strongly linked with the playmaker. However, a hunt for a new goalkeeper is not being considered – and Pochettino has reiterated the faith he has in his stopper.“He is my captain,” Pochettino told the media. “He’s one of the best keepers in the world. There’s no doubt. There’s no doubt that Hugo is one of the best and he’s going to be in the goal. “It’s a situation that is so painful because I think we deserved more (at Liverpool), but in that kind of situation, which happens in football, it’s only to be strong and back our player.“I think Hugo is going to be, like always, great for us. He was great for us. He was so important in all that process in five years, and for sure he’s going to be one of the most important players for the future of the club too.”
